The Catholic Bible is the bible used by Catholics. It contains the deuterocanonical books and explanatory notes (commentaries, explanations and indications), while the bible used by the Protestants lacks the deuterocanonical ones and the notes.
Canon of the Catholic Bible
According to the Catechism of the Catholic Church, the list of books of the Catholic bible is composed of 46 writings for the Old Testament (including the deuterocanonical ones) and 27 writings for the New Testament. The definitive canon was established at the Council of Trent.
